Parques Las Aguilas - Jungle Park in Tenerife
(Carretera Los Cristianos)
This unique park is located in the south of Tenerife, near Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. The immense jungle and the many attractions that characterize it make it a necessary stop for all the visitors of the Island.
Many shows and demonstrations take place in its large amphitheater one after another over the whole day. Among these, the most beautiful and amazing shows see as protagonists: hawks, condors (the Andes reaches 3 m wingspan), eagles and marabou fly freely, coordinated by experienced and capable instructors.
In the jungle, unique in all Europe, you’ll have the sensation to be Indiana Jones surrounded by exotic animals of every species, from monkeys to caimans as long as tigers and lions. Among the animals there is the “White Lion”, which is in danger of extinction and which remain only 27 examples worldwide.
There are also caves, bridges, springs and trails that run through the jungle that permit an immersion in the wilderness.
Useful tips: For obvious reasons, during the performance of the raptors avoid eating and sitting near people who have food in their hand!

CAMEL PARK - TENERIFE
(Los Cristianos, Arona Tenerife - Every day 10.00 am to 7.00 pm)
All the entertainment parks of Tenerife are all concentrated in the area of tourism, in the south. Not far from the village of Los Cristianos is the “Camel Park”, a nice place where you can live a new and exciting adventure. In fact, the park offers a walk, an hour or so, on the back of a camel. An unforgettable experience for the whole family that will add a touch of magic to your holidays in Tenerife!
To end at best an interesting day you can stop in one of the many exotic restaurants that offer tasty Maghreb- North Africa- dishes.... stopping for lunch is a good idea! In any case, within the park there are many kiosks where you can buy snacks and drinks.
Hints: a stroll on the back of the camel is an unforgettable experience but is not recommended for who is seasick… the sensation is exactly the same.
The best thing to do is not to eat before the camel trip and bring along a good sunscreen and hat to protect yourself during the hot hours of the day.

ZOO TENERIFE – MONKEY PARK
Like many entertainment parks of Tenerife, the “Monkey Park” is located in the south region of the Island, near Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. This park is not advertised enough and people discover it hearing how fantastic it is from people who already have been there.
This experience is truly incredible especially for animal lovers: the contact with them here is totally you can play with them and you can even give them to eat. It is recommended to buy a lot of fruit and special bags for sale at the entrance; it’s a simple way to help the park to improve and contribute to the expenses.
You can admire, not only, adorable monkeys of all kinds and all sizes (very famous are the “lemurs”), you can also see many iguanas, colorful birds and Guinea pigs. The animals are free seeds, many cages are open, a few other closed, but the contact is always possible.

Tips: best to have an extra shirt ... the adventure is beautiful and unforgettable but its not perfectly clean!!
